designelements works to provide K-12 schools, facilities of Higher Education, therapeutic and health facilities with design concepts that work toward providing an environment that is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
We provide interior design that facilitates the learning process through the proper use of materials, color, and space planning.
In the past, many materials were used with out regard to “off-gassing” which are the toxins that are released by chemicals in fabrics, furniture, carpet, flooring and adhesives. Research has shown that these elements greatly affect our nervous system in turn effecting our overall functioning. This in turn can heavily influence productivity, health and well being.
The goal of designelements is to develop designs that incorporate information gathered via a sustainable needs assessment as well as aesthetics and ergonomics that have a baring on how students perceive the built environment.
